John C. Madden

Port Orchard, Washington

I have worked as an attorney since 2013. In 2013, I joined the Nebraska Bar Association, and worked as a solo general practitioner with a focus on criminal and juvenile law. In 2014, I joined the firm of Thomas G. Incontro, P.C., L.L.O. in Omaha, Nebraska, where the majority of my work was as a Guardian ad Litem for children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings. I also served as counsel for juveniles facing delinquency proceedings, and represented parents and grandparents in custody and visitation cases. In 2015, I received a Community Partner award from Nebraska Families Collaborative for my work as a Guardian ad Litem in juvenile court.

In 2017, my wife and I moved to Seattle, and in early 2018, I began working as a criminal defense attorney for the Law Office of Jeniece LaCross. Currently I work for the Law Office of Jeniece LaCross and defend clients facing misdemeanor charges in Kitsap County. I am experienced in representing clients facing a range of offenses including driving offenses, theft, assault, domestic violence, and other criminal offenses. I also work as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in King County for children involved in dependency cases.

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2010 with a BA in political science, and I graduated from Creighton University School of Law with a JD in 2013. I am a member of the Nebraska and Washington State Bar Association, and I am a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

In my free time I enjoy running and hiking with my wife and dog, writing, playing piano, basketball, and watching movies.
